By Laura RichardsonPublished Mar 07, 2017 05:53AMNintendo and Koei Tecmo have announced Kirby’s Star Allies DLC, coming this month for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
The game, which features Kirby, Zelda and other heroes, is the third installment in the Kirby series of video games, following Kirby’s Epic Yarn and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land.
In Kirby’s Dreams, Kirby can use a rainbow bow to collect various items from the land of Dream Land, and can also perform various feats.
Kirby can also use the hammer Koopa Klaw, the sword the Power Sword, and the sword of Time to battle foes.
The game also features a special power-up called the “Sonic Bow,” which allows Kirby to fire a rainbow arrow at foes.
Kirby also gets a new “Super Star” costume, which can be equipped to his koopa shell and allow him to fly, or be thrown into the air.
The costume will be available in select regions on April 19.
Kirei Matsumoto, producer at Koeio Tecmo, said Kirby’s dream world has changed over the years, and new worlds are coming to the 3DS eShop.
“We are really excited to share this game with our fans this spring, as it marks the return of the Kirby universe for the 3D family,” Matsumotos said in a press release.
“We look forward to bringing Kirby’s dreams of adventure and adventure through the skies in the new Kirby’s World eShop title, coming to Nintendo 3ds on April 18.
Kirby’s Adventures on Nintendo 3Ds will follow later this year.”
The Wii U version of Kirby’s Stars Landing will also be available on April 17.
The Nintendo 3D and Wii U versions of the game will also feature the “Superstar” costume and “Scythe” weapon, which will be exclusive to the Nintendo 3rd-generation console.
In addition to the three new Kirby games, Kirby’s Heroes, Kirby: Planet Robobot and Kirby: Triple Deluxe are scheduled for release on March 23.
