A huge majority of people across the globe think they will see big tax cuts in the coming years, according to a new study.
The survey by Credit Suisse, the world’s largest financial services company, found that 79% of respondents said they expect their taxes to fall between 2019 and 2023.
The results are based on data collected in December.
The report comes just two weeks after the US Congress passed a sweeping tax cut package that would cut rates across the board by nearly 20%, in a bid to boost economic growth.
The measure passed the Senate on a 56-41 vote on Wednesday.
