So, here are six simple, delicious recipes to make with sugar.

If you’ve ever wondered what a dessert looks like with sugar, you’re not alone.

And, since we’re all in this together, here’s a list of tips to help you get there.1.

Make the right recipeThe best way to make your own sugar-filled desserts is by following a recipe that’s both simple and satisfying.

Here’s a few tips to get you started: Make the recipe a few days in advance and use a blender or food processor to make the batter, not the actual ingredients.

Use 1/2 teaspoon sugar per 1/4 cup of flour. 

Include any additional ingredients that may help to make it work.2.

Don’t overdo itIf you don’t feel like spending a lot of money on a sugar topping, don’t spend more than you need to.

You can also buy a sugar coating, a powdered sugar coating or a sugar syrup.

These don’t need to be expensive, but you’re probably better off using a cheaper, more affordable option. 


Use a food processor or food blender to make batter1/2 cup granulated sugar (or more if you have a food mixer)1/4 teaspoon salt1 cup water1 cup flour1 cup vegetable oil (or coconut oil)1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, ground cloves or nutmeg (optional)3.

Blend the ingredients in a food processing machine for 15 to 30 seconds. 

Once the batter is combined, add the flour and oil to the machine and mix for 15 seconds.

Turn the machine off and leave the dough to rest for 5 minutes. 


Put the dough in the fridge to rise for another 10 minutes.5.

While the dough is rising, make the topping.

In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar, salt, and water and stir until the mixture is thickened. 

Place the dough on a baking sheet, seam side down, and cover with plastic wrap. 

Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C)  or until the top is set and the bottom is a golden brown. 


When the dough has risen, turn the oven off and bake for another 5 minutes at 325°F  or the same amount of time as the dough was baking.


When ready to serve, gently fold in the toppings. Enjoy!
